(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of Forlease Road from a point 57 metres south from its junction with Moorbridge Road southward for a distance of 12 metres.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Forlease Road, Stafferton Link, B3028 Oldfield Road, A4 Bridge Road and Forlease Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate sewer basin works, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will be in operation from 22:00 hours on Wednesday 1 July until 05:00 hours on 2 July 2026. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
