FINKLE STREET, STOCKTON TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order on 12th June 2026 under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The Order, which will come into effect on 21st June 2026, will have the effect of introducing a prohibition of driving restriction along the entire length of Finkle Street, Stockton and introducing no waiting at anytime restrictions along the entire length of Finkle Street.
Details of the affected sections and restrictions on Finkle Street are set out in the Order and accompanying plan, available on the Council’s website. (Traffic Orders). If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 12th June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
