City Of Salford - Multiple Road Traffic Notices
What is happening?
Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (LONDON STREET, PENDLETON AND CHARLESTOWN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
London Street, (i) north-east side, from the south-easterly extended kerbline of Cromwell Road for 46.3m in a southeasterly direction, (ii) south-west side, from the southwesterly extended kerbline of Cromwell Road for 10m in a south-easterly direction.
A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. PROPOSED TOUCAN CROSSING, CROMWELL ROAD,
PENDLETON AND CHARLESTOWN
NOTICE is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to introduce a signal-controlled Toucan Crossing under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Toucan Crossing on A576 Cromwell Road - Mid-point of the crossing located 23.7m north-east of the south-westerly extended kerbline of London Street.
The crossing has a width of 4.6m and a depth of 10.2m across the carriageway.
The controlled area of the crossing extends for 17.4m in a north easterly direction and 17.4m in a south-westerly direction.
A Statement of Reasons for the scheme and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
