ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – FERNDALE ROAD AND BYTHORN STREET
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable bridge inspection works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in those lengths of:
(a) Ferndale Road, between outside the common boundary of Nos. 190 and 192 Ferndale Road and outside the common boundary of Nos. 210 and 212 Ferndale Road.
(b) Bythorn Street, between its junction with Ferndale Road and its north-westernmost extremity.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles would be available via Ferndale Road, Allardyce Street, Santley Street, Concannon Road, Acre Lane, Brixton Road and Ferndale Road.
3. The Order would come into force on 27 June 2026 and would continue in force for a maximum duration of 1 month, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 2 nights (10pm to 5am) to complete.
