BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL

(VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS,
ON STREET PARKING PLACES, RESIDENTS’ PARKING PLACES AND
TAXI STANDS) (AMENDMENT NO 9) ORDER 2024
(“AMENDMENT NO 9 ORDER”)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 10 June 2026 Blackpool Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32,46, 46A, 47, 49, 53 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of  the Act of 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Borough of  Blackpool) Order 2003 (Statutory Instrument No 2677) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions as specified below:

RESTRICTIONS TO BE INTRODUCED

1. No waiting at anytime on the sections of Valeway Avenue, North Drive, Neville Avenue, Bucknell Place, Ashfield Road, All Hallows Road, Sawley Avenue, St Anne’s Road, Selby Avenue (west side), Selby Avenue (east side), Sandgate, Stoney Hill Avenue (south side), Stoney Hill Avenue (north side), Dunes Avenue, Warbreck Hill Road, Gosforth Road, Argyll Road, Calder Road, Link Road, Pierston Avenue, Antrim Road, Cherry Tree Road (Services Road), Sandicroft Road (west side), Sandicroft Road (east side), Links Road, Ribblesdale Close, Cherry Tree Road, Derby Road, Stockydale Road, Willowbank Avenue, Edgeway Road, Talbot Road, North Avenue, Monrtose Avenue, Rear of Grasmere Road, Rear of Exchange Street,
2. No waiting Monday, Wednesday & Friday on the odd numbers side of  Addison Crescent
3. No waiting Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday on the even numbers side of Addison Crescent
4. No loading/unloading at any time on the full length of Cornford Road
5. Ambulance Bays to be installed on Derby Road
6. Resident Permit Holders Parking at any time to be introduced on Lakeway

RESTRICTIONS TO BE REVOKED

1. Limited waiting bay Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 hour no return within 2 hours on Montrose Avenue at the side of No 200 Central Drive

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act of 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
