ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – VAUXHALL STREET
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable water mains replacement works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding, waiting, including waiting for the purpose of loading and unloading a vehicle, or parking in that length of Vauxhall Street from its junction with Black Prince Road south westward for a distance of 56 metres.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles would be available via Jonathan Street, Tyers Street and Black Prince Road. Alternative routes for cyclists would be available via Black Prince Road, Vauxhall Walk and Jonathan Street, or via Black Prince Road, Newburn Street and Sancroft Street, and vice versa
3. The Order would come into force on 1 July 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 6 months, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 8 weeks to complete.
