ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 16A TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS – LAMBETH’S BIG SHIFT ABBEVILLE ROAD, NARBONNE AVENUE AND SHANDON ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable local residents/communities to hold special events as part of the Lambeth’s Big Shift initiative, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order the effect of which would be, between 12:01am and 11:59pm on 27 June 2026 to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading, unloading or parking in those lengths of:
(a) Abbeville Road between its junctions with Bonneville Gardens and Hambalt Road.
(b) Narbonne Avenue, between its junction with Klea Avenue and opposite the north western flank wall of No. 44 Abbeville Road.
(c) Shandon Road, between 20 metres north-west of its junction with Abbeville Road, and 7 metres south-east of its junction with Abbeville Road.
2. The restrictions would only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs on the date and times specified above.
