Enfield - Multiple Temporary Road Closures & Parking Suspensions Due To Various Works

What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984- Section (14.1)

The Council of The London Borough Of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

UPPER PARK ROAD N11 -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: "At any time" on the 20 June 2026 for 2 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road, approximately 50m from its junction with Palmers Road, westwards for approximately 25m.

FORE STREET N9 -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 22 June 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend the parking places on this road from outside Nos 321a - 335.

WATERFALL ROAD N14 -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 22 June 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking, between No’s 64/70 on both sides of the road.

SHAFTESBURY ROAD N18 -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: "At any time" on 22 June 2026 for 10 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking, on a phased basis, between Nos.13/3, on both sides of the road.

THE SUNNY ROAD, LANSBURY ROAD EN3 -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: Between 09:30 to 15:00hrs on 22 June 2026, for 3 days until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;

Sunny Road
- Suspend parking, between Nos. 64–No.1 on both sides of the road;

Lansbury Road
- Suspend parking, between its junctions with The Sunny Road and No. 70 Lansbury Road, on both sides of the road.

RUSSELL ROAD, WHITTINGTON ROAD, EATON PARK ROAD, PALMERSTON CRESCENT, GREEN LANES N13 AND RIPLEY ROAD -
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works
Operational Date and times:

Russell Road, Whittington Road
"Between 08:00 - 18:00hrs on 23 June 2026, for 2 days or until works are completed."

Eaton Park Road, Green Lanes
"Between 08:00 - 18:00hrs on 25 June 2026, for 2 days or until works are completed."

Palmerston Road
"Between 08:00 - 18:00hrs on 29 June 2026, for 3 days or until works are completed."

Ripley Road
"At any time" on 6 July 2026, for 2 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to;

Russell Road
- close this road and suspend parking between its junction with the A406 North Circular Road and Whittington Road;

Whittington Road
- close this road and suspend parking from a point outside No.s 205/221 on both sides of the road; and from a point outside No.s 175/199, on both sides of the road.

Eaton Park Road
- close and suspend parking on the whole road;

Green Lanes
- suspend parking, from a point between No.s 583/607 on both sides of the road;

Palmerston Road
- close and suspend parking on the whole road;

Ripley Road
- close and suspend parking on the whole road.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Whilst roads are closed local diversions would be in place and access would be maintained only as far as the works allow for more information contact 0208 379 2039 or email: NRSWA@enfield.gov.uk.
