Bracknell Forest - Multiple Temporary Road Closures Due To Street Cleansing & Grounds Maintenance Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS - STREET CLEANSING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:

a) B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne between A322 Bagshot Road and A3095 Crowthorne Road.

b) B3348 Bracknell Road between A3095 Foresters Way and Old Wokingham Road.

c) B3018 Binfield Road between Temple Way and B3034 Forest Road.

d) A3095 Foresters Way between Joshua Jebb Way and B33488 Bracknell Road.

The alternative routes for these closures are as follows:

a) A3095 Crowthorne Road, A3095 Mill Lane, A322 Downshire Way, A322 Bagshot Road and this route reversed.

b) A3095 Foresters Way, A3095 Rackstraw Road, A321 Yorktown Road, A321 High Street, A321 Wokingham Road, B3348 Dukes Ride and this route reversed.

c) B3034 Forest Road, A3095 Newell Green, A3095 Warfield Road, A329 Millenium Way, B3018 Binfield Road, and this route reversed.

d) B3348 Bracknell Road, B3348 Dukes Ride, A321 Wokingham Road, A321 High Street, A321 Yorktown Road, A3095 Rackstraw Road, A3095 Foresters Way and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out street cleansing and grounds maintenance.

The proposed Order will come into operation on (a) 23rd June 2026 (b) 14th July 2026, (c) 21st July 2026, (d) 18th August 2026 and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 09:30 until 15:30 only.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
