Temporary Closure of High Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: High Street - from the junction with Ham Hill, north-eastwards for a total distance of 48 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works.
The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd July 2026 and last until 2nd July 2026 between the hours of 10:00 - 14:00 for a total of 4 hours.
