Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Claycastle - from the junction with Clay Castle Lane, westwards for a total distance of 136 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th June 2026 and last until 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
