NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 08 January 2026 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close A6175 Market Street, Clay Cross has been extended.
The alternative route will be via A61 High Street, Harris Way, Bridge Street, Furnace Hill Road, A6175 Market Street and vice versa. The road will be closed until 30 June 2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner to facilitate construction of a pedestrianisation zone.
