THIS NOTICE IS DATED THIS DAY 12TH JUNE 2026

The 40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limits have been introduced to reduce the speed of traffic to assist pedestrians and cyclists. A lot of this section of road does not have a footway and it connects two sections of national cycle network (route 48), this means there are a number of vulnerable road users along this route.

It helps to improve road safety and reduce road accidents along the route. Improvements Design Team Manager, Via East Midlands Ltd, Bilsthorpe Depot, Bilsthorpe Business Park, Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire NG22 8ST
