(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed Order is necessary in the interests of public safety as it is to facilitate the National Eisteddfod taking place in the field intersected by the route.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all pedestrian traffic other than exempted persons from proceeding along the Public Right of Way PP53/13/1 at Llantood - which runs from a point at the side of the property known as Fronlas adjacent to the A487(T), northwest to a point at the side of the property known as Geli Aur adjacent to the B4582 nr Glanrhyd.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 29th June 2026 for approximately 10 weeks.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed accordingly.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 6 months as a contingency should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Penfro yn bwriadu, dim llai na saith niwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991.
Mae’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd gan ei fod er mwyn hwyluso’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol fydd yn cael ei chynnal yn y cae y mae’r llwybr yn ei groesi.
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gwahardd dros dro holl draffig ar droed, ac eithrio personau sydd wedi’u heithrio, rhag mynd ar hyd Hawl Tramwy Cyhoeddus PP53/13/1 yn Llantwd - sy’n rhedeg o bwynt ar ochr yr eiddo o’r enw Fronlas ger yr A487(T), i’r gogledd-orllewin hyd at bwynt ar ochr yr eiddo o’r enw Gelli Aur ger y B4582 ger Glanrhyd.
Y bwriad yw y bydd y cyfyngiadau, y bydd arwyddion yn cael eu gosod yn unol â hynny, yn dod i rym ddydd Llun 29 Mehefin 2026 am oddeutu 10 wythnos.
Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerddwyr yn cael eu gosod yn unol â hynny.
Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau i fod yn ddilys am uchafswm o 6 mis fel trefniant wrth gefn os bydd angen ail-drefnu’r gwaith neu os bydd unrhyw amgylchiadau annisgwyl.
