What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – VICARAGE LANE & PEGASUS AVENUE, HORDLE, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

Vicarage Lane between its junction with Sky End Lane and its junction with Vicarage Gardens.

Pegasus Avenue between its junction with Vicarage Lane and its junction with Berryfield Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Sky End Lane, Hordle Lane, Everton Road, Sky End Lane, Pegasus Avenue.

DURATION OF ORDER:

From Monday 22nd June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30–15:30).

The Temporary Road Closures has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete cabling works. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
