HYSBYSIR trwy hyn bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen, ar 3 Mehefin yn unol â Rheoliadau Gorchmynion Traffig Awdurdodau Lleol (Gweithdrefn) (Lloegr a Chymru) 1996 a’r Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (cyfeirir ati ar ôl hyn fel “y Ddeddf”), fel y’i diwygiwyd, ac yn unol â Rhan III Atodlen 9 y Ddeddf, phob pwer galluogi arall, ac ar ôl ymgynghoriad â Phrif Swyddog yr Heddlu, wedi gwneud y Gorchymyn a ganlyn.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd adnewyddu Atodlenni Map Gorchymyn Cyfunol Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen (Heolydd Amrywiol) (Rheoli Traffig a Therfynau Cyflymder) 2019 (Diwygiad Rhif 17) i gynnwys unrhyw wallau gweinyddol.

Ni fydd y Gorchymyn yn cael unrhyw effaith ac ni fydd o unrhyw sylwedd heblaw am wella gweinyddiaeth.

Mae copi o’r Gorchymyn sy’n dod i rym ar 10 Mehefin 2026, y mapiau sy’n dangos y cyfyngiadau newydd, ynghyd â Datganiad o’r Rhesymau dros wneud y Gorchymyn, i’w gweld ar-lein trwy https://www.torfaen.gov.uk/roadsandpavements.

Gall unrhyw un sydd am wneud dilysrwydd y Gorchymyn, neu unrhyw ddarpariaeth ynddo ar y sail nad yw o fewn pwerau’r Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, neu ar y sail nad oes cydymffurfiad wedi bod ag unrhyw ofyniad yn y Ddeddf neu unrhyw ofyn a wnaed o dan y ddeddf honno mewn perthynas â’r Gorchymyn, wneud cais i’r Uchel Lys i’r diben hwn o fewn chwe wythnos o 10 Mehefin 2026.

TORFAEN COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS) (TRAFFIC REGULATION AND SPEED LIMIT) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019

(AMENDMENT NO. 17A)

NOTICE is hereby given that Torfaen County Borough Council has on 3rd June 2026 in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) as amended, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 made the following Order.

The effect of the Order will be to replace the Map Schedules within the Torfaen County Borough Council (Various Roads) (Traffic Regulation and Speed Limit) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment No. 17) to correct an administrative error.

The Order will have no effect or substance other than the improvement of administration.

A copy of the Order which comes into operation 10th June 2026, Maps indicating the new restrictions, together with the Statement of Reasons for making the Order are available to view online via https://www.torfaen.gov.uk/roadsandpavements.

Copies have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at Torfaen County Borough Council, Civic Centre, Pontypool NP4 6YB from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm on Friday.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, they may within six weeks from 10th June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
