SECTION 14 – THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

BRIDGE ROAD, CASTLE EATON

This Order is being introduced for OPENREACH and will impose a prohibition of driving on Bridge Road over River Thames at Castle Eaton from the junction with The Street.

Traffic to be diverted via The Street, Long Row, Church View, Red Barn Lane, Lushill Lane, Gore Farm Lane, Queens Road, Nell Hill, Hannington Lane, Bridge Farm Road, 3/171 County Boundary To High Street Kempsford, High Street, Road From High Street To District Boundary, Thamesdown Boundary Near Castle Eaton North East To Junction With C116 and vice versa.

The Order comes into force on the 26 June 2026 for 6 months but works are expected to take place on 26 June 2026 between the times of 09:00 to 16:00.
