Manchester City Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the titles and effects of which are as follows:
ORDER A: CITY OF MANCHESTER
(ARLEY AVENUE, BOTTESFORD AVENUE, TINTERN AVENUE AND ADJACENT ROADS, DIDSBURY WEST) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Arley Avenue, (i) both sides from Nell Lane north-easterly for 5m, (ii) both sides from Bottesford Avenue northeasterly for 3m, (iii) both sides from Bottesford Avenue south-westerly for 5m. Bottesford Avenue, (i) both sides from Arley Avenue south-easterly for 3m, (ii) both sides from Tintern Avenue south-easterly for 5m, (iii) both sides from Arley Avenue north-westerly for 5m. Houseman Crescent, both sides from Nell Lane in a north-easterly direction for 10m. (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF LOADING/ UNLOADING, RESTRICTION OF LOADING/UNLOADING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Burton Road, both sides from Barlow Moor Road northeasterly for 69m.
NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME:
Barlow Moor Road, (i) north-east side from Burton Road south-easterly for 15m, (ii) north-east side from Northen Grove north-westerly for 9m, (iii) north-east side from Northen Grove south-easterly for 10m, (iv) north-east side from Burton Road north-westerly for 15m, (v) south-west side from The Beeches north-westerly for 15m, (vi) southwest side from The Beeches south-easterly for 15m, (vii) south-west side from Manchester Muslim Preparatory School entrance/exit north-westerly for 10m, (viii) southwest side from Manchester Muslim Preparatory School entrance/exit south-easterly for 5m. (WHITECHAPEL STREET AND CHURCHWOOD ROAD, DIDSBURY WEST) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Churchwood Road, (i) south-east side from Whitechapel Street south-westerly for 5m, (ii) south-east side from Whitechapel Street north-easterly for 5m. Whitechapel Street, (i) north-east side from Churchwood Road southeasterly for 10.5m, (ii) south-west side from Churchwood Road south-easterly for 5m.
NO WAITING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM-6PM AND SATURDAY 8AM-12.30PM:
Whitechapel Street, north-east side from 15.5m south east of Churchwood Road south-easterly to Crossway.
ORDER D: CITY OF MANCHESTER
(GEORGIA AVENUE AND ROBERT HARRISON AVENUE, DIDSBURY WEST) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Georgia Avenue, (i) both sides from Robert Harrison Avenue south-easterly for 10m, (ii) east side from Robert Harrison Avenue north-easterly for 10m, (iii) east side from a point 30m north-east of Robert Harrison Avenue northeasterly and then north-westerly for 24m, (iv) west side from a point 30m north-east of Robert Harrison Avenue north-easterly and then north-westerly for 15m. Robert Harrison Avenue, south-east side from Georgia Avenue south-westerly for 8m.

Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or to the address below, stating the Order (A, B, C, or D) to which it relates, and the grounds on which your objection is are made, no later than 6th July 2026.
