Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401286 Keble Road, France Lynch from its junction with Brantwood Road to outside the property known as ‘Bankside’ for a distance of approximately 340 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for overhead cabling works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401494 Downend from outside the property known as ‘No.1’ to outside the property known as ‘Kenton Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 113 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said Road, Footway and Footpath are expected to be closed, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, from 17th June 2026 until 19th June 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 407593 PARK ROAD (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 407593 Park Road, from its junction with London Road/Park Road to outside the property known as ‘Park House’ for a distance of approximately 309 metres.

The reason for the said closure and restriction is for gas mains replacement works.

There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 15th June 2026 until 10th July 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (30MPH & 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (CIRENCESTER ROAD, MINCHINHAMPTON) (STROUD DISTRICT) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Sections 81-84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named order the effect of which will be to:

  1. Introduce an eastern extension to the existing 30mph speed limit as signed on site on Cirencester Road by revoking the existing 40mph speed limit in the section where there is streetlighting and introducing a 30mph speed limit by virtue of street lighting (restricted road); and
  2. Rectify anomalies between the existing 30mph speed limit by virtue of a Traffic Order and the on-site situation by revoking the existing Traffic Order and introducing a 30mph speed limit by virtue of street lighting (restricted road where there is street lighting) as detailed in Schedule 2 below and by Traffic Order as detailed in Schedule 1 below (where there is no streetlighting) along Cirencester Road; and
  3. Remake the extent of the existing 40mph speed limit as detailed in Schedule 3 below.
