TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire & Humber) (No. 10) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Wood Lane comprising its highway verge at Stannington, in the City of Sheffield. This is to enable development as permitted by Sheffield City Council under reference 21/03358/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/6269). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Stannington Road Post Office, 304 Stannington road, Sheffield, S6 5FS.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 10 June 2026.
