Road Closure and Temporary One-Way Traffic Restriction and Temporary Prohibition of Stopping Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 8th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary one-way restriction over an area of highway being Trinity Street, St Austell for its full length running in a northerly direction. In addition and to support this one way order there will be a parking suspension on Truro Road from its junction with Trinity Street to its junction with Edgcumbe Road.

There will be no Left turn restrictions imposed at all junctions along the Northern side of Trinity Street, and no right turns along all junctions and private entrances along the south side of Trinity Street. Finally West Hill will be closed from its junction with Trinity Street for a distance of approximately 45 metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out essential safety critical modifications to White River Place.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 8th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Road subject to stopping prohibition - Truro Road, St Austell between the junctions of Trinity Street and Edgecumbe Road.

The Order will come into operation on 22nd June 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th April 2028. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day weekends included.

Nothing in this order will apply to anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Blue badge holders are not exempt from this prohibition.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Junction North East Of Higher Penhale To Iron Bars, Lostwithiel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th July 2026 to 7th July 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction North East Of Higher Penhale To Iron Bars, Lostwithiel for its entire length.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Polmorla Road To Tredruston Road, Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge.

This prohibition is necessary for retaining wall repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th July 2026 to 14th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Polmorla Road To Tredruston Road, Wadebridge between Iron Brothers yard entrance and junction with Polmorla Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 8th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.

This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 5th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Berries Avenue, Bude between the junctions with Stratton Road and Stapleton Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 8th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camelford.

This prohibition is necessary for works to disconnect water supply and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 24th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for disconnection of water supply and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 24th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.

This prohibition is necessary for fibre overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th July 2026, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Tregatta To Trelake Lane, Treknow, Tintagel between the junction Access to Valley View and property known as Tremallow.
