On the 20th April 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Broomhill Gardens and Shaw Court, Newton Mearns, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing from Monday 6th July to Friday 17th July 2026.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
