Gurner Street - Prohibition Of Waiting
What is happening?
Salford City Council made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effects of the Order is as follows; City Of Salford (Gurner Street, Salford) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2026. The Order will introduce the following restrictions. No Waiting At Any Time on: Gurner Ave - Both sides, from a point 3.2 meters south west from the South Westerly projected kerbline of St Clement's Drive, for a distance of 6.8 meters in a south westerly direction. North east side, from its cul de sac end, including its turning head, for a distance of 32.5 meters in a north westerly direction. South west side, from its cul de sac end, for a distance of 8.4 meters in a north westerly direction.
The Order will come into operation on the 11th June 2026.
A copy of the Order and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or by writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA quoting reference L/GS/SCC006/01287 If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 9th June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
