THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 66/3, Parish of Bledlow cum Saunderton) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of RDN/FP/9/1, RDN/FP/11/1 & RDN/FP/8/1 and continues approximately 150 metres northeast along BCS/FP/66/3.
Alternative route is along Footpath No’s RDN/8/1 & BCS/66/2.
The closure is required to allow the building of steps on the footpath to improve access. The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Byway Open To All Traffic No. LCI/1/1, Parish of Longwick Cum Ilmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any four wheeled motor vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in LCI/1/1 from the junction of Clebe Cottage & LCI/1/1 and continuing along LCI/1/1 for approximately 275 metres.
The closure is required to enable works to be carried out to resolve flooding issues in Horsenden Valley.
There is no suitable alternative route.
The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
