What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2033, C2013, AND U2036 MAWBRAY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
- U2033 Mawbray, from its junction with the B5300, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 1.8km.
Alternative Route: via the U2034, C2013, and B5300.
Duration: From 23 June 2026 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/18247)
- C2013 Mawbray, from its junction with the U2036, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 350m.
- U2036 Mawbray, from its junction with the C2013, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 850m.
- U2036 Mawbray, from its junction with the U2033 extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 360m.
Alternative Routes for 2 to 4 above: via the unrestricted section of the U2036, U2033, C2013, B5301, and B5300.
Duration: From 29 June 2026 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/18256)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times

The Order will come into operation on 23 June 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
