(40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (4319)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Annesley in the District of Ashfield in the County of Nottinghamshire: -
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.
SCHEDULE
A608 MANSFIELD ROAD, ANNESLEY
From its junction with the A611 Annesley Road/Derby Road Roundabout in a south-westerly then westerly direction to its junction with M1 Jct 27 Roundabout.
Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:
(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP.
(b) Annesley Woodhouse Community Partnership Library, Acacia Centre, Acacia Avenue, (off Forest Road), Annesley Woodhouse, Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17 9BH.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 12th JUNE 2026
The proposed 40mph Speed Limit has been introduced to improve road safety and help to reduce road accidents along the route.
