TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – LAMBETH ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable bridge repair works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth has made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit vehicles from waiting, including waiting for the purpose of loading and unloading a vehicle or parking in those lengths of Lambeth Road between its easternmost and westernmost junctions with Sail Street.
(b) suspend the eastbound bus lane in Lambeth Road, situated between its easternmost and westernmost junctions with Sail Street.
(c) suspend the westbound bus lane in Lambeth Road, situated between its easternmost and westernmost junctions with Sail Street.
2. The restrictions specified in paragraph 1 will only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs.
3. The Order will come into force on 15 June 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 8 months, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.. In practice, it is anticipated that the works will take 23 weeks to complete.
