Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 15 June 2026 until 1800 hours on Monday 29 June 2026, or when the works has been completed, A) Newport Bridleway 142, Carisbrooke will be closed for its entire length. B) Newport Bridleway 143, Carisbrooke will be closed for its entire length. C) Shorwell Bridleway 52 will be closed for its entire length. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 12 June 2026 and Friday 17 July 2026 the following roads / path will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable footway resurfacing works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
