(Various Streets, Barton-upon-Humber) (Bike Night) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council, being satisfied that the provisions set out in Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 apply, proposes to make an Order under that Section to enable celebrations in connection with the Barton Bike Night.
The Order will have the effect of temporarily prohibiting any vehicle from proceeding along Market Place (north side parking area only), George St, Priestgate (part), King St, High St, Part of Queen St (from High St-Katherine St Junction), Cottage Lane, Vestry Lane, Chapel Lane, Hungate, Junction Square, Part of Burgate (from George St Junction up to St Mary’s Lane Junction). The A1077 will remain open throughout the Event.
This closure will take effect between 12 noon and 10pm on Wednesday 1st July 2026. The diversion is Catherine St, Marsh Lane, Soutergate, Beck Hill, Whitecross St, A1077 Market Place, Holydyke, B1218 Fleetgate and reverse.
