HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbyseb hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:

Lôn y ty ôl i George Street a Nantcarn Road rhwng y cyffordd â Park Street a Ramping Road am bellter o tua 350 metr.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 15 Mehefin 2026 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 20 Medi 2027.

Ni fydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys a phreswylwyr.

Mae llwybrau amgen ar hyd George Street, Park Street, Edward Street a Nantcarn Road.

LANE TO THE REAR OF GEORGE STREET & NANTCARN ROAD, CWMCARN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along

Lane to the rear of George Street & Nantcarn Road between its junctions with Park Street and Ramping Road for a distance of approx. 350 metres.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 15th June 2026 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 20th September 2027.

Access for pedestrians will not be maintained, and emergency service vehicles and resident access will be maintained.

Alternative routes are via George Street, Park Street, Edward Street and Nantcarn Road.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for drainage and retaining wall work.

The order is required by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
