What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A3098 (Part), Dilton Marsh and Westbury; from its roundabout junction with Mane Way to its junction with Hisomley. B) B3099 (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with C229 to its roundabout junction with A3098. C) C386 (Part), Dilton Marsh and Westbury; from its roundabout junction with A3098 to its junction with Ludbourne Place to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and other associated works. Alternative route A via A3098 (unaffected length) – A350 – C386 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route B and C via B3099 (unaffected length) – A3098 – A36 – Somerset – B3099 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 June 2026 and the closure will be required weekdays only between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 07 July 2026. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Church Lane (Part), North Bradley; from its junction with Westbury Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repair cover and associated works. Alternative route via Church Lane (unaffected length) – C227 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 June 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 for 2 days. This Order will come into operation on 08 June 2026 and the closure will be required weeknights only between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 16 June 2026. This Order will come into operation on 11 June 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. L) UC 826501 (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with C215 for a distance of approximately 140m in a north easterly direction to enable Wessex Water Services Limited to carry out new connection and associated works. This Order will come into operation at 09:00 on 08 June 2026 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day for 5 days. M) C150 (Part), Corsham; from a point approximately 100m west of its property known as Corsham Rugby Football Club for a distance of approximately 150m in a westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out excavation works and other associated works. Alternative route via C150 (unaffected length) – B3353 – C157 – C150 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 03 February 2026 will now recommence on 11 June 2026. For further information please contact Openreach on 0800 023 2023.
Orders A) to L) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order M) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 9 (Part), Warminster; from its junction with Footpath 8, Warminster to its junction with Grovelands Way to enable temporary footpath closure required to facilitate a sewer infrastructure project being undertaken in field adjoining new housing development. Alternative route via existing highways and rights of way. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 01 July 2026 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 01 October 2026. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (PARISHES OF WEST WILTSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, ON STREET PARKING AND CLEARWAYS) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT NO.3) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2025 by the insertion of Map Schedule No E16 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road: Tyning Road, Winsley – north side – from a point 20 metres west of its junction with Broomground to a point 37 metres east of that junction; Broomground, Winsley – both sides – from its junction with Tyning Road to a point 16 metres north east of that junction. To introduce No stopping on entrance markings (School Keep Clear) on the south side of Tyning Road, Winsley – from a point 15 metres west of the entrance to Winsley Primary School to a point 11 metres east of that entrance.
Deposit copies of the Order, plan and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon during the hours of 10am - 7pm Monday, 9.30am - 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am - 7pm Thursday and 9.30am - 4pm Saturday until 29 June 2026.
