(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 09 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Kilmarnock Fair Festival, Howard Park.
No Waiting At Any Time - Waterside Street, Kilmarnock - Town Centre
No Waiting Restriction Waterside Street from Junction of Wards place to the Junction of Waterside Court both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 27 June 2026. The restrictions for the event are expected to commence from 27 June 2026 at 00:01 with the restrictions remaining in place until 27 June 2026 at 23:59.
The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 04 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Ayr Summer Fayre.

Wellington Lane - 100m from the junction of Wellington Square
No Waiting At Any Time – Pavilion Road
Pavilion Road - for 130m from the junction of Place de Saint Germaine en Laye to the junction of Wellington Square and Wellington Lane - Both Sides of the Carriageway.
The Order commences on 20 June 2026 .
The Event restrictions are expected to commence from 20 June 2026 at 00:01 until 20 June 2026 at 23:59. The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

On 04 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order allow Scottish Water Works.
Temporary Road Closure – Princes Street
From No.6 Princes Street to junction with Back Street.
Suspension of One Way Operation - Princes Street
One way system to be revoked from No.6 Princes Street to junction with Montgomerie Street.
The Order commences on 23 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 23 June 2026 at 09:00 until 30 June 2026 at 16:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

On 04 June 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Race for Life Event for Cancer Research UK.
Temporary Road Closure – Various Roads , Ayr
Bath Place - 40m - From junction on Esplanade to Queen’s Terrace Lane.
The Battery - 273m - From the junction on the Esplanade to the end of the road.
Charlotte Street - 40m - From junction on Esplanade to Queen’s Terrace Lane.
Cromwell Road - 40m - From junction on Esplanade to Queen’s Terrace Lane.
Esplanade - 1,162m - From roundabout on Blackburn Drive to The Battery.
Pavilion Road - 132m From junction on Esplanade to Place De St Germain En Laye.
The Order commences on 28 June 2026. The Event restrictions are expected to commence from 28 June 2026 at 06:30 until 28 June 2026 at 13:30.
The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ will be maintained when safe to do so.
Local Diversions will be in place.

Temporary Road Closure – Wellington Street, Maybole Full length (Ladyland Road to Carrick Street) - 96m.
No Waiting At Any Time - Wellington Street, Maybole Full length (Ladyland Road to Carrick Street) - 96m Both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 22 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 22 June 2026 at 08:00 until 29 June 2026 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via Ladyland Road, Carrick Street.

No Waiting At Any Time - St Cuthberts Road, Prestwick St Andrew’s Avenue to Kirklandholm (236m) both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 22 June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 22 June 2026 at 08:00 until 29 June 2026 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
