Bell Hill – Temporary Road Closure Due To Manhole Cover Works

Somerset Council Parish of Norton St. Philip Temporary Closure of Bell Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Bell Hill - from the junction with Fair Close, north-eastwards for a total distance of 107 metres. This Order will enable Doocey Group to carry out man hole cover works on behalf of Earth Stone Construction.

The Order becomes effective on 19th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 and last until 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days.
