What is happening?
HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2025 (VARIATION) ORDER No. 7 2025 (TRANSPORT HUB) (HEREFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME)
The County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2 & 3 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the 1984 Act) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the 2004 Act) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, has made the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting & No Loading at Any Time restrictions are introduced in the vicinity of Hereford Transport Hub.
This order shall come into operation on 8th June 2026
A copy of the 2025 Order, the Variation Order named above, a consultation plan and Statement of Reasons can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk in the Introduced Traffic Regulation Order section and at Blueschool House Customer Information Centre, Hereford, HR1 2AN. Requests for copies of the Orders, plan and Statement of Reasons or general enquiries relating to this proposal can be made by calling 01432 260000, by email to tm@herefordshire.gov.uk or by post to Traffic Management Team, Herefordshire Council, Plough Lane, Hereford HR4 0LE. Photocopies of the same may be provided on payment of photocopying charges at the Council.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within six weeks from the date the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
Any representations received by the Council may be imparted to third parties. We will keep your data for up to 7 years. Your information may be shared with other Balfour Beatty teams within Herefordshire and Herefordshire Council in order to provide you with the service. Individuals have a number of rights under data protection law, including the right to request their information.
