RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd o Bentreuchaf heibio Pont y Pandy i’r Ffordd i’r de o Dan y Ffordd, Pentreuchaf yn ei gyfanrwydd.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ailwynebu. 

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol ar y Ffordd hebio Pont y Cribyn i’r gyffordd i’r gogledd o Blas Tudur a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda’r Ffordd i’r gogledd o Hen Fynwent i Lanerch Isaf. 

Dilyn y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad gogleddol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar y 10fed o Fehefin 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 6 diwrnod.

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(ROAD FROM PENTREUCHAF PASSING PONT Y PANDY TO THE ROAD SOUTH OF TAN Y FFORDD, PENTREUCHAF)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Road from Pentreuchaf passing Pont y Pandy to the Road south of Tan y Ffordd, Pentreuchaf in its entirety.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public
during resurfacing works.

The alternative route is to travel south easterly on the Road passing Pont y Cribyn to the junction north of Plas Tudur and turn left at the junction with the Road north of Hen Fynwent to Llanerch Isaf. 

Follow this road in a northerly direction up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order came into effect on the 10th of June, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 6 days.
