TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (OSSINGTON STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Ossington Street to be closed from outside of number 1 side of Victoria Grove Mews to outside of number 11 Ossington Street.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 22nd June 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 26 th June 2026, with backup dates of Monday 6th July 2026 until Friday 10th July 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Ossington Street, Moscow Road, Palace Court, Bayswater Road, Notting Hill Gate.
The One-way working of Ossington Street is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers. Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- anything done in connection with the execution of said works
