TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (HANS ROAD) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they have made a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Hans Road to be closed from the junction of the Brompton Road to outside of number 10 Hans Road.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 15th June 2026 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 21st June 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Brompton Road, Draycott Avenue, Beauchamp Place, Walton Street, Walton Place, Hans Road, or Brompton Road, Sloane Street, Pont Street, Walton Street, Walton Place, Hans Road.
The One-way working of Hans Road is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure. Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
