What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the to take Exbury Gardens 10k Road Race place out on or near the road.  
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Summer Lane between its junction with Exbury Road and continuing to a point 555 metres North on Summer Lane (Exbury Gardens). Exbury Road between its junction with Summer Lane and its junction with Lepe Road. Lepe Road between its junction with Exbury Road and its junction with Incmery Lane. Lepe Road between its junction with Inchmery Lane and continuing to a point 1200 metres Southeast on Lepe Road (Just before Lepe Car Park). Inchmery Lane between its junction with Lepe Road and its junction with Exbury Road.  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Road reopens behind runners.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 28th June 2026 between the hours 08:30 – 10:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out. The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Exbury Gardens 10K Road Race.   A copy of this notice can be viewed: www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices.
