RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng, rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd Stryd y Capel, Biwmares.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn galluogi gwaith Dŵr Cymru - gwaith dad-swthio.

Y ffyrdd eraill fydd:
Ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad gogledd-ddwyreiniol ar hyd Stryd y Capel - o bwynt deheuol y cau. Teithiwch ar hyd yr A545 o’r West End i gyfeiriad gogledd-ddwyreiniol ar hyd Stryd y Castell i gyffordd Stryd yr Eglwys a throwch i’r chwith. 

Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad gogledd-orllewinol am bellter byr iawn i fyny Stryd yr Eglwys i’r gyffordd â Stryd Margaret a throwch i’r chwith. Teithiwch ar hyd Stryd Margaret i gyfeiriad de-orllewinol i’r gyffordd â Steeple Lane a phen arall y cau.

Ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad de-orllewinol ar hyd Stryd y Capel - teithiwch i gyfeiriad gogledd-ddwyreiniol ar hyd Stryd Margaret i gyffordd Stryd yr Eglwys a throwch i’r chwith. Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad gogledd-orllewinol ar hyd Stryd yr Eglwys i’r gyffordd â Rating Row a throwch i’r dde. 

Teithiwch i gyfeiriad de-ddwyreiniol ar hyd Rating Row i’r gyffordd â Stryd y Castell a throwch i’r dde. 

Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad de-orllewinol ar hyd Stryd y Castell i’r gyffordd â Stryd y Capel a phen arall y cau.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 1af Gorffennaf 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 1af Gorffennaf 2026.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991

CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(CHAPEL STREET, BEAUMARIS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Chapel Street, Beaumaris.

The Order is necessary to enable Dŵr Cymru works - de-silt lines.

The alternative routes for the above will be:
For traffic travelling in north easterly direction along Chapel Street - from the southern point of the closure. Travel along the A545 from West End in a north easterly direction along Castle Street to the junction of Church Street and turn left. 

Then travel in a north westerly direction for a very short distance up Church Street to the junction with Margaret Street and turn left. Travel along Margaret Street in a south westerly direction to the junction with Steeple Lane and the opposite end of the closure.

For traffic travelling in south westerly direction along Chapel Street - travel in a north easterly direction along Margaret Street to the junction of Church Street and turn left. Then travel in a north westerly direction along Church Street to the junction with Rating Row and turn right. 

Travel in a south easterly direction along Rating Row to the junction with Castle Street and turn right. Then travel in a south westerly direction along Castle Street to the junction with Chapel Street and the opposite end of the closure.

The Order comes into effect on 1st July 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 1st July 2026.
