Ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad gogledd-ddwyreiniol ar hyd Ffordd Victoria i gyffordd Stryd y Dŵr a throwch i’r chwith. Ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad gogledd-orllewinol ar hyd Stryd y Dŵr i’r gyffordd â Stryd Sant Cybi a throwch i’r chwith.
Ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad gorllewinol ar hyd Stryd Sant Cybi i’r gyffordd â Stryd Stanley a throwch i’r chwith.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 29ain Mehefin 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 1af Gorffennaf 2026.
NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(SWIFT SQUARE, HOLYHEAD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Swift Square, Holyhead.
The Order is necessary to enable Dŵr Cymru works - renew existing stop tap.
Access from Boston Street
Travel along Boston Street in an easterly direction to the A5 Victoria Road and turn right. Then travel in a southerly direction along Victoria Road to the junction with Swift Square and the opposite end of the road closure.
Access from Victoria Road
Proceed in a north easterly direction along Victoria Road to the junction of Water Street and turn left. Proceed in a north westerly direction along Water Street to the junction with St Cybi Street and turn left.
Proceed in a westerly direction along St Cybi Street to the junction with Stanley Street and turn left.
Travel in a southerly direction along Stanley Street and then in an easterly direction along Boston Street to the junction of Swift Square and the opposite end of the closure.
The Order comes into effect on 29th June, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 1st July 2026.
