ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(HARLESTON CROSS TO SHERFORD CROSS, PINHEYS CROSS TO
HARLESTON CROSS, COLES CROSS TO PINHEYS CROSS & HIGHER WALLATON CROSS TO COLES CROSS, SHERFORD/ EAST ALLINGTON) ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 6/6/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 12/6/26.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: HARLESTON CROSS TO SHERFORD CROSS, PINHEYS CROSS TO HARLESTON CROSS, COLES CROSS TO PINHEYS CROSS & HIGHER WALLATON CROSS TO COLES CROSS, SHERFORD/EAST ALLINGTON.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - SHERFORD DOWN ROAD TO SHERFORD CROSS, HARLESTON CROSS TO SHERFORD CROSS, FURSDON CROSS TO STANCOMBE CROSS, KINGSBRIDGEFORK CROSS TO FURSDON CROSS ALONG ZC247, ROAD FROM KINGSBRIDGEFORK CROSS HEADING NORTH, COLES CROSS, ROAD FROM KELLATON CROSS HEADING SOUTH ALONG ZC247, EAST ALLINGTON FOOTPATH 3, DARTMOUTH ROAD, LOWER WALLATON CROSS TO HIGHER WALLATON CROSS ALONG ZC6 & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DATA COLLECTION FOR SURVEYS. SURVEY WORKS WILL NOT CLASH WITH OTHER NEARBY PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES (FOR SURVEY WORKS) AS ONE STAGE WON’T START UNTIL THE PREVIOUS HAS FINISHED.
