What is happening?

MUIRYHALL STREET, COATBRIDGE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

On 11 June 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the facilitation compound area in relation to NLC Municipal Building development) on Muiryhall Street, Coatbridge from Terminus to Dunbeth Court by reason of works being executed on or near that location. 

Pedestrian access will be permitted, where practicable, during the closure.

Vehicular access will be permitted, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Thursday, 18 June 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 28 May 2026
