THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 
(BAULK LANE AND ELEANOR CRESCENT, STAPLEFORD) 
(20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (5366)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council HAS MADE an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Stapleford in the Borough of Broxtowe in the County of Nottinghamshire.

1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.

SCHEDULE
BAULK LANE, STAPLEFORD
• From its junction with B5010 Nottingham Road in a southerly direction for 243 metres

ELEANOR CRESCENT, STAPLEFORD
• From its junction with Baulk Lane in a westerly direction along its entire length Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:

(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP. 

(b) Stapleford Library, Church Street, Stapleford, Nottingham, NG9 8GA

The 20 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to encourage greater use of the existing route by both cyclists and pedestrians, particularly young and female riders, by improving the ride quality and reducing concerns about personal safety.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 10th JUNE 2026.
