LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. **) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 84 and 124 (insofar as applicable) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984¹, as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to

(a) extend existing no waiting restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in Gordon Road at its junction with Park Hill;

(b) relocate limited time parking bays operating Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm maximum stay 2 hours no return within 2 hours to outside Nos. 2 to 4 Gordon Road; and

(c) amend the map-based tiles attached to The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2023 to match conditions as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and draft map-based schedules showing the location and the effect of the proposals may be inspected as follows:-

(a) online at https://streets.appyway.com/sutton selecting MapSutt1234 Gordon Road;

(b) at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA; or

(c) copies of the draft Order and draft map-based schedules can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday).

4. Alternatively comments to the proposed Order can be submitted either electronically via the link provided in paragraph 5(a) or in writing to the TMO Team, Highways and Transport, Kingston & Sutton Shared Environment Service, Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA by 25 June 2026 please quote the following reference MapSutt1234 Gordon Road.
