What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BAULK LANE, STAPLEFORD, EWE LAMB LANE, AND B5010 DERBY ROAD, BRAMCOTE - DOUBLE YELLOW LINES 2026 (TRO 5373) AND TOUCAN CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (zig-zag markings), 90A - 90I of the Highways Act 1980 (traffic calming hump), the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended the effects of which are in respects of roads at Bramcote and Stapleford in the Borough of Broxtowe: -
1. Vehicles are Prohibited from Waiting At Any Time
along the following lengths of road:-
EWE LAMB LANE, BRAMCOTE (the north-east side)
• From its junction with B5010 Derby Road in a northwesterly direction for 13 metres (the south-west side)
• From its junction with B5010 Nottingham Road in a north westerly direction for 13 metres
B5010 DERBY ROAD, BRAMCOTE (the south-east side)
• From a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Valmont Road in a south-westerly direction to a point 21 metres south-west of that junction
2. Toucan Crossing which incorporate a controlled area indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled area are
B5010 NOTTINGHAM ROAD, STAPLEFORD
• From a point 7 metres south-west of its junction with Baulk Lane in a north-easterly direction for 45 metres Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -
a) Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP
b) Bingham Library, Eaton Place, Bingham, Nottingham, NG13 8BE

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 10TH JUNE 2026
The crossing, controlled zone and double yellow lines are to facilitate the safe operation of a new signallised Toucan crossing to allow for cyclists and pedestrians in both directions.
