CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

FOOTPATH NO.4 ILKLEY, ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is satisfied pedestrians on or near Footpath No.4 Ilkley, Ilkley should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath No.4 Ilkley from a point outside the suspension bridge to a point outside the stepping stones.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

No alternative routes for pedestrian traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on the 15th of June 2026 and remain in force until 10th of July 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
