CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SOMERSET AVENUE, BAILDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Somerset Avenue, Baildon has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Somerset Avenue from its junction with Hope Lane to a point outside No. 2 Somerset Avenue.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Somerset Avenue (unaffected section), Springfield Road, West Lane, Hope Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 09:00 hours on the 8th June 2026 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 12th June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
