THE OLDHAM - NEW STREET UPPERMILL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of New Street Uppermill from High Street to its junction with Boltons Yard. The alternative route will be via Boltons Yard, Smithy Lane, High Street and vice versa.

The Order is to be made to allow sewer repair works and will be in force for 2 weeks from 16th June 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
