MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):

ORDER NO. MCC 150552849 : The City of Manchester (Greenside Street, Clayton & Openshaw Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Greenside Street From Ashton Old Road to Meech Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Ashton Old Road, Victoria Street, Meech Street and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate. Carriageway resurfacing . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 20th June 2026 to 21st June 2026 between the hours of 08:30 on Saturday- Sunday 9.30 and 22:30. The order shall come into operation on 20th June 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
