(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following
stretches of road:
l Earl Street closed to the junction of Broad Street.
l Broad Street closed from number 22 to number 32.
Vehicular diversion route: Batchcroft, Green Croft, The
Crescent, Broad Street and vice versa.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 09:30 on 16 June 2026, until 15:30 on
29 June 2026.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of storm
water and foul water connections by J Harper & Sons.
